Sometimes you get an offer you can’t refuse. This happened to me while on a mission trip to Ecuador. After leading a Training Conference for around 100 leaders, a pastor of one of the largest churches in South America (with 50 locations, approximately 40,000 people), asked me to preach.

Our leaders, Ron Sutton and Ron Wilson said this was the first time a group member had been asked to preach for Verbo Church. I was greatly humbled and honored. I was already scheduled at a smaller church in the area, so one of our pastors volunteered to lead those services.

After agreeing to preach, I found out the services were at 8:00 & 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. the next day. My voice was weak from two days of leading conferences, but I knew this was God’s favor.

Sunday morning was a beautiful celebration as I watched the Ecuadoran people worship. As I spoke, God gave me such a heart for these people. There was an overwhelming response, and I was able to pray personally for at least 150 people. As I was leaving at 2:00 p.m. people were still stopping me and asking for prayer. Hallelujah!
